   I am very happy with it so far. I thought top filling would be easier and it is so much easier that I run it much more than my Levoit because I don’t have to take it to the sink to fill and then carry the very heavy full tank back and after about 5 or 6 tries finally get it set right – no more of that ! It is super quiet and with the light on it’s easy to see if it’s getting low. I use tap water that I run through my Brita filter and there is no white dust. The warm setting is as warm as my Levoit ( which is not very warm ) It also doesn’t have a setting for the humidity that turns off but the one on the Levoit went wacky so they replaced it and the new one has also gone wacky. As far as how often and hard it is to clean I can’t say as I’ve only had it for 2 weeks.

   I’ve had this for two months.I purchased it for a sick animal that needs warm mist continually.
   3 weeks ago the warm mist stopped working and now it’s making a choking sound,which is more like a death rattle.
   You are not saving money buying a refurbished item and I am not satisfied with my purchase.

   I have a smaller humidifier from the same company and have run it about 8 hours a day for about a year.

   I love that the tank is a good size. I run this continuously on high with warm mist and I fill it once a day. We have radiant heat in our house, so Aprilaire is not an option. I ran it most of last winter (January 2024) rinsed it out and dried for storage in summer, and now we’ve been using for the last week again (January 2025). I’m glad it’s lasting well! Not super expensive so I will likely replace with the same one when it poops out. I’ll try to remember to update my post when that happens. I’m sure there’s a way to decalcify it to make it last longer, but as a working mom of three…yada yada 🙂

   When I got my first humidifier, it simply didn’t work, so I reached out to make a return. Service was prompt and helpful, and I got my replacement the next day. The replacement works but the heater doesn’t, so even though it’s winter, I can only get cool mist. However, it does create a lot of mist, so the room is nicely humidified and the large chamber is easy to fill. It’s also very quiet. But the indicator lights are *super* bright, so I have to cover them in order to sleep, and that’s without turning on the night light feature. So. Mixed feelings.

   UPDATE: The new one stopped working after just a couple of months. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I wouldn’t mind nearly so much if this were a cheap unit but I paid kind of a lot to get something that worked for about 2 months.

   After over a year, the humidifier stopped working. I emailed the company, they told me to clean the disk with vinegar, but that didn’t help. They promptly sent out a replacement device! Not a refurbished one, a new one.

   I don’t like the bright lights on the device that keep me awake, I cover those with a postcard and have to lift the postcard to turn the device on or off or adjust the settings.

    We are very happy with this humidifier. It’s easy to fill and adjust to various levels of output. It holds about 2 gallons of water, and it can put it all into the air in one day on high. But it functions well at lower output settings so it can last longer. You have to get within about 3 feet of it to hear the little whisper sound it makes, so in normal household use you don’t really hear it at all. We’ve only had it a month, and it hasn’t needed cleaning yet, so I don’t know how easy that is. But it looks simple enough. We’ve had 4 ultrasonic humidifiers over the last 6 years, and we like this one best.

    This humidifier is big enough that you don’t have to fill it every night. It has the option to direct some of the mist toward/away from you. I love that it has the essential oil drawer. When using essential oils all you have to do is pull the drawer out (backside of humidifier) and put a few drops on the pad. I use the cool air setting. I set it for warm air and let it run for about 30 minutes. The air was warmer than the cool setting, but cooler than the air in my house (73). It also has timed settings for 2, 4, and 8 hours. It has a nightlight that is great for seeing how much water is left in the reservoir, even in the middle of the night. I have mine placed on an edged cookie sheet/roll pan. I haven’t had any leaks, but am prepared if I don’t get all the water into the humidifier.

    I honestly love everything about this ultrasonic humidifier. We purchased this unit for our large bedroom. It sits near our bed which is at the far end of the room. I suffer from allergies and humidity definitely helps during the winter months. The attached photo shows the lowest output setting which we use during the day. We use medium or high during sleeping hours. PLEASE NOTE: we sit our unit on a cookie sheet to catch splashes when we refill it. The unit is leak free in every respect. We especially enjoy the night light feature which is optional.

    This is my second humidifier. The first one I purchased was very good, not easy to clean and it filled from the bottom. The Pure Guardian is a pleasure to fill, lift off the top and pour in the water, no carrying the tank to the sink and carrying it back full and turning it over to set it back on the base.

    Cleaning is a snap and operationally it is so simple and yes quiet. I use purified water, I have a purification system under my sink, and trust me it is worth the cost to install the system. No white dust is produced from the minerals in the water, the tank stays clean so requires much less maintenance. It’s a very nice looking humidifier and the blue light is a nice touch, although I keep it off since I have enough lights from other appliances. Get it, you will love it.

    Works great! Had it for over a year now and it’s still easy to clean and easy to use. We use it for the entire winter in Minnesota while we have our heater on so it’s running constantly for months without much of a break. It’s pretty quiet and I only have to fill it about every other day or so. I highly recommend it! We just bought another one to out in our new baby girl’s room. Very much worth the money. I’ve used 2 other brands and neither can compare to this unit’s performance!

    I bought the same model again because the previous one lasted five years. Most competitive ultrasonic humidifiers die after a couple of years. My only complaint is that the inductive controls are flat against the body and cannot be seen in the dark.

    It put out a great deal of mist, but slowly deteriorated over time. I kept it clean too. I didn’t use this regularly, but it got intermittent within a year of pirchasing and quit altogether months ago. Junk

    Lately, it occassionally stops working and I’ve had to take all the water out let it dry and then it works again. Maybe I’m leaving it on too long and should give it a rest more. On the whole I’m glad I bought this unit because it keeps my living room (15×15) at a comfortable level of humidity during the winter. I would buy from this company again. Note my water is good so no cleaning issues.
