   Product arrived on time and well packaged. It has been in use now in our bedroom for about three months during the Covid 129 outbreak. It does generate some noise on high speed, but it is not objectionable. It is like white noise in the background. Airflow is small as this is rated for a small room and the air must spend some time passing by the UV bulb for it to be disinfected. There is a VERY SLIGHT ozone type odor if you stick your nose close to the exhaust port. Power consumption, if memory serves, was about 20 to 35 watts or so on the meter, so it will not raise your electric bill significantly. It does have a second low speed but I have not used that much because low speed emits a rotational squeak type noise that I do notice. It is very minor but I have sensitive hearing. Others may not even notice the noise if it is present in all models. Overall…I am very pleased with the product. Please note that this is for SMALL rooms…

   10/28/2020 – Unit has been running non stop since purchased in May. Have not had to change the bulb and no issues with the device.

   I’m not sure why other people thought this unit would be smaller than it is, they could have looked at the dimensions before buying it. It works just great. The air is fresh – there is absolutely no odor lingering anywhere from anything, and as someone with asthma, I couldn’t be more satisfied with this product. I didn’t buy this as a cute little table-top item, I bought it for its effectiveness; and it really IS unobtrusive and smart-looking. I have it placed on the floor, near my fireplace, it looks just fine.

   I like to use these after I have been to an outing with lots of people. I like the white noise too at times. I honestly feel I sneeze far less while using these. IMO.

   I have three dogs and I have this set up in a small bedroom next to their beds. It smelled like plastic when I first plugged it in, but after 24 hours of running the room it’s in smells like nothing! The room doesn’t smell like dog or like a air freshener trying to cover up dog smell, it just smells like nothing!

   Overall I’m very happy with this product!

   I like the product. It is a bit time consuming to clean. The manual really wasn’t too helpful. Do I clean the bulb? Or just the inside of the purifier? Plus all those small screws are frustrating for an older person to see.

   The manual that came with it says “powerful fan”, it’s not and it’s noisier than what is should be for the amount of flow it’s generating. Now to be fair, it probably shouldn’t be pulling in a lot of air so that what is does pull in has time to disinfect. However, I don’t like being lied to, the fan is less forceful than a computer fan. It will take time to see if it actually works.

   GermGuardian GG3000BCA UV Air Sanitizer and Deodorizer I have been told for years to try something like this in our home. We have several people with allergies and asthma including myself that they are still trying to figure out. Have used a similar type product in dd’s room to help her. Now with this product I can pretty much put it anyplace that we need to. It stands about 11 inches tall. It has nice sleek shape to it. Easy set up. Just plug it in to wall outlet not extension cord and select fan speed with a push of the button. The brighter the light the higher the fan speed. Even on high the fan is not overly loud. It uses UV-C light technology which I like since it kills the germs without chemicals. The fan moves the air though it and that is where the germs are then exposed to the UV-C light. The air that flows back out of the machine is clean air. To mazimize your results with this do not use when windows are open. Also I would not place on carpet since the air is going through the bottom and comes out the top. Needs to have good clear air flow on the bottom of the unit. On day one I tried this out in a small bedroom. Left it in there all day long on a table. Windows and door shut. Oh my how much nicer it was to walk in later that night. I was a little surprised. This was a teens bedroom that I have tried so many things to help the not so fresh air in there. The size of this unit is so useful. Most days it is on a table next to me for heath reasons and it is making nights so much easier to breathe. If I need to though I can bring it to the kitchen when working with not so pleasant smells like fish. So far it has worked more than I ever thought it would. Another reason I like this size is often when traveling even though the hotel is non-smoking there are times that I end up near that back door where you get the smoke from people going out there to light up. Cigarette smoke is a huge trigger for me and I have such a hard time even being around someone that was smoking 5 min ago. This unit will make traveling so much nicer for me now. Good thing to since I have to take a trip next week. Overall this unit has done with with every test I have thrown at it. For myself it is a good thing to have to help us breathe better in our home.

   I have several of the larger units from GermGuardian for years but this unit is a great disappointment.
   Next to NO air flow.
   Great idea but bad design.
   Sending both back that just arrived.
   Expect to purchase one of the larger units again.
   This is a direct plug in unit.
