   Definitivamente lo recomendaría para personas que sufren de alergia o que viven en lugares con mucho polvo. Yo padezco de alergias y por las noches era peor ya que estaba el polvo acumulado de todo el día en el cuarto. Al usar el purificador, he notado una diferencia y sí se han reducido de manera considerable mis problemas de alergia.

   PROS: Consigues fácilmente los filtros, no son caros comparados con otras marcas. Siempre revisa eso, porque de nada sirve un purificador al que no puedes cambiarle los filtros.
   Tiene un foco ultravioleta que elimina los virus en el aire.
   Al aventar el aire de frente ayuda a refrescar el cuarto como casi como un ventilador… a diferencia de otros que lo avientan hacia arriba.

   Es casi imposible darle mantenimiento, para abrirlo es muy complicado a mi me gusta abrir mis aparatos para limpiarlos de polvo y este tipo de aparatos acumulan mas polvo por su tipo de uso. Y para repararlo en caso de falla es igual muy complicado.
   Tiene una advertencia del gobierno de California donde indica: “Este aparato puede contener elementos que llevan plomo” (supongo la pintura) … y eso es la gota que derramó el vaso… por todo lo anterior y encima esto… me había gustado al comienzo pero el no poder abrirlo fácilmente para limpiarlo o repararlo me molesta demasiado.

   While I can’t attest the overall quality or effectiveness of the product since we just got it, I’m pretty disappointed and confused by the contradictory advertising. On the website it significantly promotes the filter’s ability to cover up to 338 sq. ft of room. Yet the box itself indicates it is ‘great for small rooms up to 78 sq. ft.) Which is it germguardianoutlet.com / GermGuardian? Also in what world is there even such a thing as a room that’s only 78 sq. ft. ? Not in any house I’ve ever seen…
   I’m hopeful this still works well in the office it was meant for which is around 120 sq. ft.
   but either way it seems odd/deceptive that the product would be advertised in two such glaringly different ways on the site and the box.

   This thing is a blessing.. I have become very very sensitive to smells . Candles and all the air fresheners gives me a headache sadly. But this thing took smells out of my home after about 15 minutes. Now walking into my home it’s smells like I have aired my house out for hours . It feels fresh and smells clean . I’m loving this thing I will be buy another one as soon as I can . Just buy it you will love it . I’m not being paid to say this 🤣. Side note: I have 3 cats 1 farret i also have 5 dogs and a teenager and it works like a charm.

   The desktop germ guardian is fairly compact, sleek and easy to move room to room if needed. On high setting (#3) you definitely know it’s there but it does move a good amount of air, Settings two and one are pretty quiet I think and you can still feel the airflow. At first use with the UV light on you’ll smell a slight ozone smell but goes away after a few hours. I originally bought the germ guardian tower air purifier with UV light and was incredibly happy with it I’ve since bought this desktop air purifier and also a plug in automatic UV odor eliminator from germ guardian and am very happy with all products! We have forced air heating in our home and live where it’s winter near 6 months of the year and even tho I keep up on quality air filters for our forced air unit it’s simply just not enough with a family of 4 with 1 cat. I run this desktop air purifier throughout the day periodically with the UV light on then at night time in my child’s room on low setting with the UV light off and in the morning the air in there room smells and feels clean and fresh, we also use it in our teenagers room who has a gaming pc he’s on for hours at a time, with how teenage boys rooms smell this little desktop air purifier takes care of all the boy odor and has cut down on dust dramatically. Every unit I’ve purchased from germ guardian has been phenomenal so far, ready to use out of the box just follow instructions provided, make sure filter is installed correctly, plug into wall and you’re good to go! 11/10 recommend!

   I have owned this filter since 2016 and highly recommend it. Having mutiple severe allergies, I require a good grade true HEPA. We have all the top name $$ house-Hepas at home. But I have traveled extensively for almost a decade using this filter. I have dropped it, dented it and it still works great, especially in hotel rooms. Hard to find a good replacement for its small “fits in carry-on” size. I have bought lots of various brands of replacement true-Hepa filters for it, all of which are inexpensive and work great. I can’t find a newer one that is better for travel.

    Compre un purificador debido a que tengo alergias y entra mucho polvo a mi casa por una construcción cercana, debo admitir que fue una compra de impulso sin tanta información, pero al final no tan desatinada

    Funciona muy bien, sin embargo este modelo es para cuartos más pequeños, si la ponen en espacios más grandes tendrá poco efecto o tardarán días en percibir una mejora del aire aunque esté encendido 24/7, por eso es muy importante entender las siglas y tablas HEPA qué rigen a todos los purificadores y que dan claridad y guía respecto a su eficiencia para limpiar el aire.
    La desventaja qué le encuentro es que es muy ruidoso y un tanto difícil de ignorar.

    El producto es de buena calidad, aunque no he visto mejoría en la calidad del aire en cuando a alergenos, mi esposa y yo continuamos con estornudos e irritación en ojos.

    El producto definitivamente sirve para atrapar polvo del ambiente, pues al abrir el filtro se puede comprobar que éste atrapa esas partículas.
